Results

I've been shooting since 1989. This is a list of the placings that I've had, prizes that I've won, and reports from some of the tournaments since then. I haven't competed seriously indoors for several years. I've split the results up into the following seasons:

For each outdoor season, I have provided a summary table like the one below. The tables below are the cumulative summary of all of the years I have been shooting. I haven't included the current outdoor season, because the result are changing all the time. The columns are:
Dist
Distance; ``All'' is for the whole round.
Hits
Average (mean) number of hits in the distance or round.
Golds
Average (mean) number of golds (10's for Metric rounds, 9's for Imperial rounds). Note that the number of golds is not accurate for scores converted from Imperial to Fita Equivalent.
Score
Average (mean) score for the distance or round.
Low
Lowest score for the distance or round.
High
Highest score for the distance or round
S. Dev.
Standard deviation for the scores; this is a measure of how consistent the scores were; a high standard deviation indicates that the scores were less consistent that a low standard deviation.
Num
Number of rounds or distances; note that in general there are more distance scores than round scores, because I had to retire from some competitions. There are also some cases from early years where distance scores are missing.

The Fita scores break down into one 800 Fita, one 900 Fita, eight 1000 Fitas, seventy-five 1100 Fitas, and one hundred and four 1200 Fitas.

York averages

The York is a traditional round of about the same duration as a Fita, but with longer average distances and 5-zone scoring.

The York scores break down into one 700 York, three 800 Yorks, four 900 Yorks, and twelve 1000 Yorks. Surprisingly, I haven't yet got my 1100 York, because I only shoot about one York a year for practice.

Fita Equivalent average

This is the average for all rounds, Fita, York, and others, converted to the equivalent Fita score by interpolation on the G.N.A.S. handicap tables.
